2016: King averaged 43.4 yards per punt in his first year in an Eagle jersey. The junior transfer ranked second in the SAC with that number. He set a school record with an 82-yard kick against North Greenville. He also had a 73-yard punt against Limestone which tied Dallas Cowboys punter Chris Jones for the second longest punt in C-N history. King had 12 kicks of 50 yards or longer on the year. He was named second team All-South Atlantic Conference following the season.

PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN: Burst onto the scene as a redshirt freshman by leading the OVC and ranking 21st in the nation (FCS) with a 41.5 average per punt...kicked 79 times (second in school history, just two short of the school record) for 3,279 yards (third-most in Tech record book)...had a long kick of 63 yards...downed 28 of his kicks inside the opponent 20-yard line, and forced foes to call for fair catch 15 times...only pushed four of his kicks into the end zone...named second-team all-OVC and grabbed a spot on the OVC all-newcomer squad...earned national recognition twice...received USA Football Network FCS Rookie of the Week Honorable Mention after the UNI game after averaging 43.6 yards on 12 kicks...his 12 punts was one short of the school record, and his 523 yards is also the second-highest game in school history...a week later he earned CFPA National Punter of the Week Honorable Mention after averaging 47.3 yards on six kicks against Murray State...three of his six kicks were inside the 20. Was on the roster in 2013...spent the year as a member of the scout team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named the National High School Player of the Year and an All-American by Ray Guy ProKicker.com...combination kicker from Farragut High School who averaged 46.9 yards per punt and made six of nine field goal tries as a senior...for his career he was 27-for-43 on field goal tries and made 55-for-56 PATs...named the 2012 Tennessee Mr. Football Kicker of the Year.
