HIGH SCHOOL: Kempfert was a member of Summit's 6A runner-up team for the state championship in 2021.  He was a captain of his team in 2024 and an all-region selection.  

PERSONAL: The son of Dave and Allison Kempfert. He hails from an athletic family.  His mother is a former Jacksonville Jaguars cheerleader and member of the national rhythmic gymnastics team. His father played football for Montana before a career in the NFL. He helped the Grizzlies to a national title in 1995 before losing to the Marshall Thundering Herd 49-29 in 1996.
