HIGH SCHOOL: A second-team all-region selection at Valley Christian, Tarr tallied 500 all-purpose yards and seven touchdowns while helping the Trojans to a region title an the state semifinals. 

PERSONAL: The son of Nathan and Devon Tarr, Carson comes from an athletic family. His grandfather Jeffery Dankworth was UCLA's starting quarterback and a 1976 inductee into National Football Foundation's Hall of Fame. His father Nathan played tennis at Carson-Newman, while an uncle, Brandon Tarr, starred in soccer at South Carolina and Belmont. His aunt, Brittney Dankworth played soccer for UCLA, while his sister Kendra was an equestrian rider for Auburn.
