HIGH SCHOOL: Wilhite produced 2,847 rushing yards and 3,691 all-purpose yards for Lenoir City on offense. He averaged 6.9 yards per carry in his high school career and 87.9 yards per game in his four years with the program. Defensively, he accounted for 421 career stops and nine picks. He was the Region 5-A athlete of the year and player of the year while being named all-state. He helped the Panthers to their first state playoff victory in more than a decade.
PERSONAL: The son of Richard and Patricia Wilhite, he plans to study business at Carson-Newman. He is a member of the National Honor Society and Gold AIP.
