2015: The South Atlantic Conference's best defensive catcher who threw out a league best 40 percent of the base runners who attempted to steal on her. Burnette played in all 52 games the Eagles played, starting 51.  She hit .227 with three doubles and eight runs batted in.  Burnette collected her first ever three-hit game against Mars Hill (3/24).  She also set her career high for total bases that game with four.  She matched her career high for runs batted in on two occasions with two against Tusculum (4/16) and Lees-McRae (2/28).  She set her career high for runners caught stealing by gunning down two against both Limestone (2/14) and Lees-McRae (2/28).  

2014: Defensive catcher started and played in 40 out of 52 games for the Eagles in her sophomore season.  Hit .211 with seven runs batted in and 12 singles.  Had the first multi-hit games of her career against Wingate (4/5) and UNC Pembroke (3/1) with two singles in each game.  Collected her first career multi-RBI game against Georgia College (2/17) driving in two off a single to right.  Threw out 40 percent of runners trying to steal on her.   

2013: Made appearances in 20 games with one start.  Hit .133 in her freshman season.  Had two hits in 15 at bats including a double.  Drove in two runs.  Third on the team with three sacrifice hits. Had her lone double against Pfeiffer (2/9) and drove in a run off that hit. 

High School:  Defensive Player of The Year, All-Region (2yrs.), All-State TN/GA All-Star. Three-time Region Champions.

Personal: Was in the top 50 percent of graduated in her high school class.
