2014: A Daktronics' honorable mention All-American and Carson-Newman's 17th South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year. Hensley only set the South Atlantic Conference and school records for hits in a single season with 92. In the process, she batted .492, the third highest single season total in SAC history and the second highest in school history. Hensley was a first team All-SAC selection and C-N softball's 17th conference player of the year. She leads the nation in triples with 10 and is eighth in the nation in batting average. She produced a prodigious 27 multi-hit games including four with four hits. Outside of Hensley, you won't wind four other four-hit games for C-N in the last five years. The sophomore also pounded out inside-the-park home runs against Belmont Abbey and Georgia College. The Knoxville, Tenn. native becomes C-N's eighth NCAA All-American and 13th when factoring in the Eagles' days in NAIA. Hensley led the nation with 10 triples, she came within three of the school and conference record for the stat category. Set a career high for total bases with seven against Belmont Abbey (2/16) and Brevard (3/19). Had more three and four-hit games (17) than she had two-hit games (10). Only went hitless in five games. Had a 19-game hit streak - the third longest in school history - to start the season and dating back to the last four games of her freshman season. Had a second 15-game hit streak from 3/23 - 4/18. Led Carson-Newman with 14 stolen bases in 16 attempts.
2013: A first team All-SAC selection and second team all-region selection for both Daktronics and the NFCA. In spite of a late season injury, Hensley turned it on in conference play. Hensley batted .386 in all games, which was fifth in the league, but raised it 40 points to .426 in just conference games – the third best tally in the league. The freshman gets on base 42 percent of the time in all games and 46 in conference only (15th and 12th in the league respectively). Hensley has 12 multi-hit games, including three, four-hit days. Hensley hits an Eagle best .595 as a leadoff hitter, which has been crucial to getting her aboard to steal 13 bases on 14 attempts. Had 39 hit in 101 at bats, including three doubles, two triples and a home run. Had her three-hit games against LMU (3/13), Wingate (3/16) and Lenoir-Rhyne (3/22). Hit triples against Newberry (3/29) and Lees-McRae (2/20). Hit her home run against Augusta State (3/20), also set a career mark for total bases with five in that contest. Scored 28 runs on the year, scored two runs on 10 seperate occasions. Had a career best three stolen bases against Augusta State (3/20).
