Truth Hafey is in her first year as a volunteer assistant coach for Carson-Newman's indoor volleyball team. 

Hafey is a Carson-Newman alum playing beach volleyball in Mossy Creek in 2023 and 2024. She saw action in 62 doubles matches going 41-21 across her C-N career. She also played beach and indoor volleyball at Georgia State University, where she played 77 sets across 25 matches of indoor volleyball for the Panthers. As a setter at GSU she compiled 286 assists across her two seasons in Atlanta for an average of 3.71 assists per set. 

Hafey's younger sister, Trinity, is a current student-athlete on both the indoor and beach volleyball rosters at Carson-Newman. She also has two brothers, both of which played collegiate baseball in her home state of Colorado for Colorado Mesa and Mesa State. 

She also holds the distinction of ranking third in career assists in the state of Colorado at the high school level.
