2014 (Junior): Honorable Mention All-SAC selection…Named the SAC Player of the Week and Women Play Ball Division II Athlete of the Week on November 4 compiling 20 kills with just one attack error for a .543 attack percentage versus Coker and No. 7 Wingate…Played the most sets out of anyone on the roster, 124, out of 125 sets…Had five double digit kill outings finishing third on the team with 221 kills…Finished second on the roster with 80 total blocks…Led the team in total blocks 10 times…Ranked fifth in the SAC with 18 solo blocks…Set a season-high with 13 kills and a .667 attack percentage on September 10 against Converse…In an upset of No. 7 Wingate on November 1, O’Neal had nine kills, hitting .529…Matched a career-high with six block assists against Catawba on September 20 and on October 31 against Coker

2013 (Sophomore): Started 27 of 29 matches and competed in all 109 sets, one of four players to accomplish that feat... Finished third on the roster with 205 kills and a .238 attack percentage while leading the team in blocks with 14 solo blocks (8th in the SAC) and 77 total rejections (9th in the SAC)... Was second on the team in points as she averaged 2.47 per set (29th in the SAC)... Registered double-digit kills five times with a season-high 15 coming against Tusuclum on September 10... Recorded multiple blocks on 20 occasions led by two solo blocks and five block assists v. Lincoln Memorial on November 12... Tallied 23 multi-dig affairs including three seven-dig efforts

2012 (Freshman): Made 14 starts and appeared in 23 games in her freshman campaign.  Her .242 attack percentage was third on the team.  Put down 139 kills (1.51 k/s) on 256 swings. Had 10 service aces.  Avered .44 blocks/set with 32 total for the year.  Had a career high 12 kills against Mars Hill (10/23), also cracked the 10-kill barrier against Brevard (11/1).  Had a .250 attack percentage against the Lions and a .611 tally against the Tornadoes.  Her career best attack percentage came on a seven-kill match against Brevard (9/27) when she didn't make an error in 10 swings for a .700 attack percentage.  Finished the year with multiple block assists in four of her final five matches, including a career high four against Tusculum (10/30).  

High School: O’Neal broke her own Seven Lakes High School record for most kills in a season.  She received 1st and 2nd team All-District recognition, Academic All-District honors and was selected to the GHVCA All-Star Team. O’Neal played for the Texas Tornado Volleyball Club based out of Houston Texas.  

Personal:  Kiayna is majoring in communications with an emphasis in broadcast journalism/media studies. She is the daughter of David and Kate O’Neal.
