2023: Indoor - Ran a personal best in the 60-meter dash at the Bast Cregger-Multi Invitational in 8.01. McCarty placed sixth in the women's long jump at the DII Indoor Track & Field Pre-Nationals (5.56 m) and seventh at the 2023 SAC Indoor Track & Field Championships (5.36 m). 

Outdoor - McCarty won gold in the women's long jump at the Trojan Opener with a 5.75-meter leap. Grabbed a personal record in the 100 dash at the Montreat College Open in 12.89. McCarty grabbed eight top-5 finishes on the season and grabbed a personal best in the women's long jump at the LR Bears Open to finish third with a 6.05-meter mark. She placed third in the event at SAC Championships with a 5.85-meter leap. McCarty attended the 2023 NCAA DII Outdoor T&F Championships and finished 11th in the nation in the long jump with a 5.92-meter leap.

2022: Indoor - McCarty grabbed four top-10 finishes on the indoor season. She placed fourth in the women's long jump at the 2022 SAC Indoor Track & Field Championships with a 5.36-meter leap. 

Outdoor - Recorded a personal best in the women's triple jump during the Lee Invitational with a 10.71-meter mark. McCarty finished the season with six top-5 finishes during the season. She placed third in the women's long jump during the 2022 SAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a 5.57-meter mark. Contributed to a fifth-place finish in the women's 4x100-meter relay at SAC Championships (47.76). 

High School – Recorded three top 10 state finishes in the long jump, finishing as the region runner-up in 2019. Recorded three top 10 state finishes in the triple jump. Recorded two top eight state finishes in the pentathlon, including winning the region championship in 2019. Was named All-State in track in 2018 and 2019. Also played basketball and volleyball for the Highlanders

Personal – Daughter of William McCarty. Was a member of the national honors society and graduated in the top 10% of her class. Intends to major in business
