JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Carson-Newman Eagles, 165 in all, spent their post-scrimmage afternoon helping their fellow C-N students move into the campus dorm.
The Eagles gathered in front of the campus' residence halls for about two hours and helped unload cars, sparing C-N students and parents from the 90+ degree temperatures.
"We've got a 170-man moving crew," C-N head coach Ken Sparks said. "We can lend more than a few hands."
The Eagles had weights after helping with the moving activities, and will practice three times Saturday.
