Mother nature re-shuffles softball schedule

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Thanks to lots of fun mid-March weather, Carson-Newman softball has moved its schedule around quite a bit.

Carson-Newman's Wednesday doubleheader at Young Harris has been postponed due to ice.  A make up date is still to-be-determined.

The Eagles doubleheader with Erksine that was originally scheduled for Monday has been moved to April 9 at 2 p.m.  That doubleheader will still be played at the Vickee Kazee-Hollifield Softball Complex.

A doubleheader with Benedict originally scheduled for March 6 has now been moved to April 24 in Columbia, S.C.  That leaves twin bills with Young Harris and Georgia College with make up dates as yet to be determined.

The Eagles open South Atlantic Conference play Saturday at Newberry.
