HIGH SCHOOL: Fairview's defensive MVP the last two years, Billingsley broke the Yellow Jackets single-season record for tackles in a season with 116. He was a two-time all-state selection as a defensive back, before earning honors on the offensive side of the ball as a wide receiver as a senior. He had eight picks his final two years at Fairview to go with 207 tackles and nine tackles for loss. He finished his senior year with 766 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns as well.
PERSONAL: The son of Calvin and Amy Billingsley, he plans to study interior design at Carson-Newman. His father Calvin played football for Ken Sparks at C-N from 1998-2000. The younger Billingsley is a member of the National Honors Society and the Beta Club.
