HIGH SCHOOL: A two-way star for Todd Lovedy at Sevier County, Ellis made 160 career tackles defensively while passing for 799 yards, rushing for 959 yards and catching 780 yards worth of passes. He found the end zone 29 times in his career.  He was a two-time region athlete of the year and was selected to the Rivalry All-Star Game as a senior. 

PERSONAL: The son of Sammy Ellis and Kelly Loveday, he plans to study education or coaching at Carson-Newman.
