2015: A first team All-South Atlantic Conference selection.  Howard gets first team honors after being named a South Atlantic Conference Pitcher of the Week, Women Play Ball Division II Athlete of the Week and TSWA Pitcher of the Week. She finished second in the league in ERA (1.74) and first in conference games only at 1.41. Howard had the third most wins in conference play with eight. Among her season highlights include retiring 24 consecutive batters without allowing a base runner between two games against Erskine and LMU. With a .214 batting average against, she has the second lowest tally in SAC play.

2014: Played her first competitve softball game in a little under two years when she made her first start.  Went 12-6 in the circle with a 3.55 ERA.  Struck out a career high seven batters against Kentucky Wesleyan (2/25).  Struck out five or more on five occasions, the Eagles were 5-0 in such contests.  Howard was a part of four shut outs and a no-hitter against Fort Valley State.  Was held out the latter half of the year because of a bout with mononeucleosis.  Pitched a complete game in 11 out of 20 starts.  Made 24 appearances in relief.  Batted in 15 games for C-N once as a pinch hitter and 14 times as a starter.  She went 10-of-25 to hit .400.  Pounded out three htis against Limestone (2/20) and Kentucky Wesleyan (2/25).  She drove in a pair of runs against KWC.  

2011 (Providence): At Providence, she appeared in three games and garnered a 1-0 record through 4.2 innings. 

High School: While in high school she earned six varsity letters in softball.  Howard was the captain of her softball team in 2009 and 2010. She was an Academic All State First Team selection in 2009 and 2010.  Howard was a two-time all-district and two-time all-region selection.  She earned region tournament MVP honors in 2010.   Howard  ranked sixth on the "Power 40 Playing Rankings 2010." She was the winning pitcher in the 2010 USFA World Series Championship game and allowed only four earned runs during the  2009-2010 high school season.  She carried a batting average above .300 and an ERA below 1.3 her final two seasons with the Cardinals.  In a game in Murfreesboro, Tenn., during a tournament she struck out 19 out of 21 batters in Murfreesboro.  She helped lead Scott County to a third place finish in the Kentucky State Tournament in 2007.  The Cardinals also earned Kentucky State Tournament berths in 2008 and 2010.  Howard saw SCHS earn district and regional championships in all four years of her high school career. 

Personal: Howard is the daughter of John and Denise Howard, she plans to study exercise science in at C-N.  In high school, she was a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club.  Her sister, Amanda Coffey, played softball for Lindsey Wilson.
