JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Tickets are on sale for the 2026 Carson-Newman Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet, set for Friday, April 10 in the Stokely Memorial Building on Carson-Newman's campus.

Shortly before he passed away in 2016, legendary Carson-Newman head football coach Ken Sparks confided in his friend, former quarterback and assistant coach David Needs, a hope he would like fulfilled. A goal that Needs then the head track coach at Carson-Newman took on as a personal challenge.

The Eagles fell two places from the 2nd round, but had three golfers finish inside the top 40.
Theo Baker and Brady Wentz both sit in the top 25, while the team sits three strokes back of the top five.
Carson-Newman caught fire in the final holes of the second 18 to shoot a team-best score of even-par and sits just outside the top five.
Dylan Frein rallied from a tough start to his final round to land top 10 in the field while C-N has their worst day of the tournament to fall two places.
Carson-Newman men’s golf will make the long drive up to Findlay, Ohio for the Doc Spragg Invitational to face unfamiliar Midwest foes receiving votes ahead of the Eagles in the Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches’ poll and set them up for Clippd rankings, which come out in the next few weeks.
Aidan Collier, Dylan Frein, Theo Baker all finished top 25 or better while a few unfortunate double-bogeys in the home stretch would drop the Eagles two positions.
With a two-round total at five-under, Collier holds a one-stroke lead over the next competitor while the Eagles team sits solo 7th above #3 North Georgia and #4 Lincoln Memorial.
The men will travel to Albany, Georgia to the Hurricane Invitational, where another challenging field of 15 teams will Duke it out at the hosting Doublegate Country Club.
