2024: Brooks turned in a quality freshman season in the outfield for Carson-Newman. Brooks appeared in 46 games with 41 starts.  The lefty slapper hit .319 with two doubles, two triples and an inside-the-park home run against UVA Wise (Mar. 19).  She had nine multi-hit performances on the year, including a three-hit day in the SAC tournament against Anderson (Apr. 27).  Brooks drove in nine runs on the year, four of which came in with her inside-the-park home run against the Highland Cavaliers.  She had an outfield assist and stole 12-of-15 bases with her fleet of footedness.  She reached bases successfully in nine straight games from March 13-27.  

HIGH SCHOOL: Brooks played softball, basketball and soccer at Jackson Christian School. She hit .414 with a home run and 16 stolen bases.  Brooks was a four-time all-region and all-district selection.  She was named Offensive Player of the Year in the 2021 season and Defensive Player of the Year in the 2022 season. Brooks was part of the Region Championship team in 2022 and the Region Runner-up team in 2021 and 2023.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Sircortie Sinclair and Dekontee Sinclair, she intends to major in Criminology in college. She received recognition as a member of the All-Academic Softball Team in 2022.
