High School: Bains finished top 10 at the 2019 Colorado Long Course State twice in 1500 and 400 freestyle along with a top 10 finish at the 2019 Colorado Short Course State in 200 free and 400 IM. Bains also gathered a top 10 finish at the 2019 Long Course State in the 800 and 1500 free. In 2018, Bains finished top 10 at the 2018 Short Course State in the 1650. 

Personal: Daughter of Chris and Pat Bains. All of her older siblings have competed in division two swimming. Her oldest sister (Bella) and oldest brother (Hunter) swam for Saint Leo University. Her second oldest brother, Cade, swam for Lindenwood University and her second oldest sister, Francesca, is currently swimming as a senior at Queens University of Charlotte NC. Graduated in the top 20 of her class.
