Pat Apke (1986) -- A three time All-American as a linebacker, Apke was a member of the 1983 and 1984 National Championship teams. He is a NAIA Hall of Famer and was selected to the C-N Team of the Century.
Tim George (1973) -- A third round draft pick by the Cincinnati Bengals, George earned MVP offensive honors in the 1972 National Championship game. He was an All-American and named Eagle Club Athlete of the Year.
David Guinn (1970) -- One of the early pioneers in the Carson-Newman wrestling program. Guinn was an outstanding heavy weight who served as “player coach” while a student-athlete.
Data Caldwell (1980)-- Carson-Newman’s first female basketball All-American, Data was named MVP of the Volunteer State Athletic Conference. She was elected to the C-N Basketball Team of the Century.
Bill Foster (1958) -- One of college basketball’s biggest winners, Coach Foster ended his stellar career with more than 500 wins. He enjoyed NCAA and NIT tournament appearances at Clemson, Miami of Florida, and Virginia Tech.
Mike Ogan (1974) -- A four year starter for the Eagles, Ogan was selected as a member of the Basketball Team of the Century. At the time of his Hall of Fame Induction he still reigned as the all-time leading scorer (3,156 points) and rebounder (1, 299) in C-N history.
