2021: Placed second in the men's 5K in his first collegiate race at the Tusculum Open with a time of 16:09.08. Set personal best in the 8K with a time of 25:54.00 at the Queen City Invite and a 57th place finish. Set personal best in the 10K at 2021 NCAA Southeast Regional with a time of 34:37.6 and an 83rd place finish

2020: Cross Country did not compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic

PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN: Attended Fontys Hogescholen Mens en Gezondheid. Ran the 400 meter, 800 meter, 1500 meter and cross country in the Netherlands. Place seventh in the Dutch National Championship in the 800 meter. Trained by Rikkert Van Rhee, former Dutch national champion.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended DevelsteinCollege in Zwijndrecht, Netherlands.

PERSONAL: Son of Hans Brugmans. Intends to major in Nursing.
