2016-17: The junior averaged 21.9 points per game and has scored 658 points this season.  It's the seventh best scoring season in the history of the South Atlantic Conference and the best individual scoring effort for an Eagle since Carson-Newman moved to Division II.  He is the league's scoring champ for 2016-17.  The junior made 170 free throws this season, which registers as the seventh best figure in conference history. The high water mark for Clark came in the final week of the regular season.  The Murfreesboro, Tenn.-native tallied up the highest scoring triple-double in the history of basketball (NCAA or NBA) while resetting both the Carson-Newman and South Atlantic Conference single-game scoring records against Coker on Feb. 25.  Clark poured in 54 points to bypass Ish Sanders (51 points versus Mars Hill in 2011) for the Carson-Newman record and RJ McLure (52 points versus Anderson in 2014) for the South Atlantic Conference mark.  He also turned in 11 points and 12 assists for his third triple-double in as many home games. Clark is the seventh player in NCAA history and the first at the Division II level with back-to-back triple-doubles. The junior guard was 16-for-27 from the field and 7-for-14 from three-point range.  He canned 15 of his 16 free throw attempts on the day – all career highs. Clark's 54-points may be the most points that have ever been scored in a triple-double in the history of basketball. All other games that the Carson-Newman Sports Information Department are aware of happened in the NBA.  James Harden has produced a pair of 50-point triple-doubles this season for the Houston Rockets this year, topping out at 53 points on New Year's Eve against the Knicks.  Oscar Robertson had 39 points for Cincinnati as a part of a triple-double in a 98-85 win over Louisville in the 1959 NCAA tournament.  Clark also breaks Chris Jones' 56-year-old Carson-Newman record for points in a half.  Clark had 36 in the second, besting Jones' 33 from a 1961 game against Emory & Henry.  His other two triple doubles came against Brevard and Lenoir-Rhyne.  He had 33 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists against the Tornados, a touch better than his 24-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist effort against L-R.  The junior saw a 52-game streak scoring double-figures come to an end earlier this season.  However, since then, Clark posted 11 straight double-digit scoring efforts.  He's topped 20 seven times since then and 30 on three occasions.  Clark has 17, 20-point games this season and has handed out five assists on eight occasions.  The Eagles are unbeaten when he does that.  Clark ranks in the top 10 in the SAC in every statistical category except offensive rebounds, person fouls, and blocks.

2015-16: A first team All-South Atlantic Conference selection, and a first team NABC and second team D2CCA All-Region pick, Clark earned SAC Player of the Week honors twice in his sophomore season.  Clark was second in the league in scoring with 21.6 points per game.  He actually led the league in total points scored with 626 and was second in steals with 57.  His 626 points are the most any Eagle has scored in a single season since Carson-Newman joined the SAC in hoops in 1989-90 and ranks just outside the top 10 for the league's all-time single season scoring list.  Along the way, Clark dropped 30 on four teams this season, including a career best 39 in the Eagles' 102-88 win at Mars Hill.  That day, Clark went 14-of-20 from the field and matched his career high with five steals.  Clark has more 30-point games (six) in his first two seasons at Mossy Creek than the program's fourth all-time leading scorer, Ish Sanders, had in his entire career (five).  The sophomore scored in double digits in every game of the season and has been on the plus side of 10 points in 36 consecutive games dating back to his freshman season.  The Murfreesboro, Tenn.-native connected on 50.1 percent of his shots and 39.8 percent of his threes.  However, where he was most remarkable was the charity stripe.  Clark went 180-for-201 from the line to finish the year with an 89.6 percent mark at the free-throw line.  Clark's 180 made freebies are good for sixth all-time on the single season SAC record list, while his 89.6 percentage from the line is 10th all-time in league history and second all-time in school history. Only Ish Sanders (2013-14) was better in the Eagles' annals, connecting on 91.2 percent of his foul shots in his senior year. Clark represented the only underclassman to make the All-SAC first team this year.  He is the only sophomore on either the first or second team D2CCA all-region squad with the same being true for the NABC All-Region team.  Clark topped 20 points on 19 occasions for the Eagles and had his second career double-double when he turned in a 33-point, 11-rebound game against Tusculum.  He handed out at least five assists five times, including a career high of eight against Anderson.  He led the Eagles in scoring 18 times, including nine consecutive games at one point.  He was the Eagles' leader in steals a team-high 15 times this season, including against Mars Hill when he matched his career high with five.

2014-15: A South Atlantic Conference All-Freshman team selection and the MVP of the South Atlantic Conference Tournament. Clark scored 23 points and snaggied nine boards to send the Eagles past LMU and on to the SAC tournament title.  Clark scored 74 points in the tournament, nine away from Anderson's Denzail Jones and the tournament record.  He set his career high in the semis against Newberry with 33 points on 10-for-16 shooting.  Clark finished the year second on the team in scoring and second in the SAC among freshmen.  He averaged 12.6 points per game coupled with 3.7 rebounds per contest. Clarked played in 32 games and started 23, including 15 consecutive to end the season. Clark scored double digits in 16 games and 20 or more in eight.  His arguably most impressive game came when he led the Eagles to an 87-72 win at No. 1 Lincoln Memorial. That night he had 30 points on 11-for-17 shooting.  He earned South Atlantic Conference player of the week honors for that performance and became the first freshman with a 30-point game for Carson-Newman since Ish Sanders set a then SAC and still school record with 51 points against Mars Hill in 2011.  At the start of the season, Clark struggled from beyond the arc, shooting 27 percent from three following the Johnson C. Smith game.  He has successfully added a deep ball to his arsenal since Christmas and has connected on 23-of-56 threes in the second semester, a 50 percent clip. He had his first career double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds against Brevard in Holt Fieldhouse. Clark has led C-N in scoring eight times, including five in a row to close the season, rebounding four times and assists on seven occasions.  The SAC's third best thief, Clark has forced 51 steals this season and has led C-N for the stat 15 times, including a career best five swipes at Tusculum.  He dished out six assists at home against Anderson for his season high there.

High School: A 6-2 guard out of Siegel High School who was coached by Ben Dotson.  While with the Stars, Clark scored 1,510 points in his high school career en route to a McDonald's All-American nomination.  His senior year, Clark averaged 17.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.  He was a three-time All-District 7-AAA and All-Region 4-AAA selection.  He earned all-state honors his senior season and all-state tournament honors his junior year.  He was a high school teammate of Ryan Jones.  The duo helped the Stars to a final four appearance when they were juniors.  Jones and Clark guided Siegel to the Elite Eight as seniors

Personal: Clark is the son of Sarah Clark. He is undecided on a major at C-N.  His nickname is Bird.
