JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Each week during the 2017 football season, an individual or a group of individuals within the Carson-Newman football program will be featured in a segment that appears on The Mike Turner Show.

This week, Eagle Sports Network broadcaster Michael Wottreng shines the spotlight on sophomore quarterback Derrick Evans (Macon, Ga.) as the signal caller takes over the Carson-Newman offense for the first time in his career looking to help the Eagles soar in his opening year as the starter.
