JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman football's summer camp schedule kicks off in a week.
Carson-Newman's summer camp schedule begins May 29th with a youth football camp that runs until June 1. The camp runs from 9 a.m. until noon each day.
The camps is designed for elementary school players ages 5-11.
This is a non-contact camp devoted to skills, agility, offensive and defensive position development, and promoting proper fundamentals and safety in football.
Campers will receive instruction from college coaches, a certificate of completion, and a better understanding of how to play the game in a safe manner.
Players will need to bring t-shirts, shorts, socks, cleats, sneakers and sunscreen. Parents should mark all of their children's belongings.

Camp number two is the Eagles' annual offensive line camp.
The camp is set from June 10-13 at Burke-Tarr Stadium.
C-N's offensive line camp will focus solely on the fundamentals of offensive line play. Campers will be divided into age and size groups to enable them to improve and learn at their own pace.
The camp is designed for the junior high and high school athlete who has not yet enrolled for their senior year of high school.
The cost of the camp is 250 dollars for overnight campers and 150 dollars for day campers. The cost includes all meals and a room in the residence halls in the case of the overnight campers.
All campers get a free t-shirt for coming.
A 100 dollar deposit is required with application (non-refundable after June 1).
Carson-Newman has produced two Rimington Award-winning centers in the last five seasons, and has produced a whopping 29 All-American offensive lineman since 1980. On top of that, the Eagles have generated six All-American linemen in the last eight years.

Finally, Carson-Newman will play host to a one-day technique camp in July on the 14th.
The event is dedicated to improving football fundamentals for all high school players entering the ninth grade up to those entering their 12th grade year.
This is a camp devoted to helping campers improve their techniques in the areas of throwing, blocking, tackling, catching, etc. Campers will participate in offensive positions as well as defensive positions.
