Bio
Spring 2021 (Senior): Made five starts playing in nine of the team's 11 matches totaling 53 kills, 65 digs, three blocks and three aces... Posted double-digit digs on two occasions led by a season-high 19 at Mars Hill on March 20... Recorded three matches with at least 10 smashes paced by a pair of contests with 11... Hit .375 with 11 blasts at UVA Wise on March 9... Did not make an attack error on 23 swings registering 10 kills on April 2 against Newberry... In the SAC Tournament Quarterfinals, she had 11 smashes in her final match at Holt Fieldhouse.
2019 (Junior): Hit the floor in 21 matches and 42 total sets as a junior tallying 39 digs and four service aces… Set a season high with eight scoops at Anderson on Sept. 20… Notched a service ace on four different occasions… Registered her lone kill of the season versus Tusculum on Sept. 14.
2018 (Sophomore): Saw time in 18 matches and 53 total sets producing 44 digs and 12 aces…Registered a season-high eight digs at Coker on Oct. 20…Set a career high with four aces at Mars Hill on Nov. 3, 2018…Had a kill against King on Aug. 31 and Tusculum on Oct. 23.
2017 (Freshman): Missed five matches with a concussion while playing in 26 contests…Had three matches with at least 10 kills including a season-high 13 against Francis Marion on Sept. 30 and at Lander on Oct. 13…Posted a season-high 21 digs against Tusculum on Sept. 26…Recorded five double-digit digs matches.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 New York state champion, Harnischfeger was named to the NYS Section V Class AA All-Tournament Team in 2014 and 2016. With 331 kills and 3.06 kills per set as a senior, she led the New York State Class AA Championship Team. The Macedon, N.Y. native was named the MaxPreps and American Volleyball Coaches' Association Player of the Week from Oct. 31 to Nov. 5, 2016. The outside hitter was invited to the USA Volleyball High Performance camp for three years and to the beach program in 2015. Her Penfield High School teammates named her a varsity captain for three years starting as a sophomore. Harnischfeger was placed on the top squad in 2016 by the Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester unit. The 2016 New York Scholar Athlete was on the honor roll for all four years of high school.

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Behind its most efficient offensive day of the season, Carson-Newman secured its second sweep of 2021 pummeling Newberry 25-20, 25-23 and 25-17 at Holt Fieldhouse Friday evening in the penultimate South Atlantic Conference contest of the year.
WISE, Va. – Carson-Newman tallied its highest hitting percentage since Nov. 19, 2019 to extend its winning streak to four matches to begin the year taking down UVA Wise in four sets, 25-16, 25-10, 24-26 and 25-13, Tuesday at the Prior Center in South Atlantic Conference action.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – On a night where the senior class was honored for their contributions on and off of the floor, the group led the way in nearly every statistical category to win a third straight match to open 2021 sweeping Limestone in South Atlantic Conference play Saturday at Holt Fieldhouse 25-17, 25-20 and 25-21.
