JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's first individual national championship in track and field in the NCAA era has been named Carson-Newman's Play off the Decade by fan voting.

Stepp collected 382 votes and 54.2 percent of the voting share over Charlie Brown's throw to Ethan Goforth to erase the tying run at the plate to beat No. 14 Northwoods.

The result is a repeat of the 2018 Frosty  Award for Play of the Year that Stepp also won by defeating the Brown/Goforth play.
