Time change, broadcast information released for football's opener with Humboldt State

VIDEO: C-N and Humboldt State to open NCAA Football Season

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman football has moved up the kickoff time for its opener against nationally-ranked Humboldt State to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 1. The game will be broadcast on ESPN 3. 

Carson-Newman's opener will be the first game to kick off nationwide at any NCAA level.

More details and promotions surrounding the game will be released in the coming weeks.
