Swimming touts CSCAA Scholar All-America honors

PHOENIX, Ariz. – The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has lauded three women's swimmers, two men's swimmers plus both men's and women's swim teams with Scholar All-America honors. 

On the women's side, Margaret Stansberry received first team honors while Courtlyn Fields and Nancy Claire Smith both received honorable mention accolades. 

Meanwhile, for the men, both Ben Young and Stephen Parsons were recognized. 

The women's team earned recognition for with its cumulative 3.09 GPA while the men touted a 3.01 cumulative GPA.

In the program's inaugural year, Joshua Grover earned honorable mention Scholar All-America honors from the CSCAA. 

To qualify for Scholar All-America recognition, the student-athlete must have a 3.500 or higher GPA (cumulative or spring semester) and have competed at the NCAA Division II championship meet. The CSCAA also recognizes an Honorable Mention squad for those not qualifying for the NCAAs.
