CSCAA lauds men's and women's swim programs with top academic honors

Colorado Springs, Colo. - Carson-Newman's men's and women's swim programs have been lauded with Scholar All-America honors for a fourth straight year, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) announced Monday.

GREENWOOD, Ind. - For a second consecutive year, Carson-Newman women's swimmer Mary Northcutt has been named Google Cloud Academic All-America to the At-Large team.  Northcutt makes the third team for the second straight year.

ROCK HILL, S.C. - For the fifth straight year, Carson-Newman placed at least 120 athletes on the South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.  The Eagles saw 124 student athletes represented on this year's list after a record-setting year with 137 a year ago.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - For the third time in four years, Carson-Newman has finished in the top 60 of the Learfield Director's Cup.  The Eagles registered 315 points to finish 57th among all Division II athletic departments.

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman cross country runner Luke Greer and women's soccer defender Averi Williams (Powell, Tenn.) brought home top honors as the Frosty Award winners for Male and Female Athlete of the Year, respectively, Tuesday evening at the Sixth Annual Frosty Awards ceremony in Gentry Auditorium.
