WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Senior Catelyn Dake (Knoxville, Tenn.) broke two school records on Saturday at the University of the Cumberlands Invitational in Williamsburg, Ky.

Dake broke her old record in the 400-meter run that she set last season and was part of the record setting 4 X 800-meter relay team of Rachel Logemann (St. Petersburg, Fla.), Brooke Earhart (Dickson, Tenn.), and Tiffany Winchell (White Pine, Tenn.), who beat the old record established on April 14, 2007.

Other strong performances were turned in by senior Allyson Corhn (Hendersonville, N.C.) in the high jump (fourth) and triple jump (seventh) and Chelsie Woods (Bristol, Va.) in the high jump (fifth) and long jump (seventh).

On the men's side, senior Antonio Gomez (Brewton, Ala.) and Bubba Haney (Soddy Daisy, Tenn.) scored points in two individual events. Stephen Brown (Washington, D.C.) finished in second in the high jump.

Both teams return to action in the Vol Track Classic at The University of Tennessee on Friday and Saturday.
