JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. – The Carson-Newman
Mid-Season Volleyball Tournament has been changed due to illness
affecting some of the teams involved.
Originally a two-day event, the tournament will now consist of a
doubleheader featuring Carson-Newman College, Lincoln Memorial
University and Queens (N.C.) University on Friday, Oct. 23.
C-N will face Queens at 3:30 p.m., after which the Lady
Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial will take on the Royals at 5:30
p.m. Both matches will take place in Holt Fieldhouse

The Lady Eagles’ “Dig For The Cure” promotional
has been pushed back to include the last three home matches of the
2009 season: Oct. 30 vs. Lenoir-Rhyne, Oct. 31 vs. Brevard and Nov.
3 vs. King. Donations will be accepted at the door to go to the
Side-Out Foundation’s support to find a cure for breast
cancer.
