Forecast shuffles baseball's midweek slate

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - With moist showers expected throughout Tennessee in the early portion of the week, Carson-Newman has cancelled its Wednesday game against Bluefield State and pushed Tuesday's tussle with Lee to Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. from Cleveland, Tenn.

Last week the Eagles had a pair of games pushed due to the inclement weather in the area as C-N will take on Lee for the 18th time since the 1990 season.

Coach Tom Griffin's team is looking to snap a four-game losing streak on the road and pick up an away triumph for the first time since Feb. 8 in an 11-5 victory at Limestone.

Fans can enjoy baseball in its finest form with a radio call on the Eagle Sports Network on cneagles.com/live starting at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday with "The AEC Countdown to First Pitch".
