Steady rainfall shuffles baseball's schedule

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - As moisture drips from the East Tennessee sky, the Carson-Newman baseball game has moved tonight's contest against Covenant originally slated for Smokies Stadium to Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex while cancelling Wednesday's game against King.

The Eagles and Scots are meeting for the first time in the history of the programs as C-N is challenging a team from Division III for the first time since visiting Maryville on March 6, 2012.

Wednesday's outing will feature complimentary audio and video streams on cneagles.com/live as the Eagle Sports Network hits the airwaves starting 15 minutes before the first toss.
