Amanda Moore enters her second season as head coach of the Lady Eagle golf program.

In her first year, Moore guided the Lady Eagles to one of the most successful seasons in program history. C-N won its second SAC Championship in three years and advanced to the South Regional Tournament for a second straight season.

The Lady Eagles fell just short of qualifying for the program's first-ever trip to the NCAA Championships with a fourth place finish in the regional tournament despite shooting a school record 921 for the 54-hole event. Mary Tunnell became the first Lady Eagle to quailfy as an individual for the NCAA Championships with a 14th place finish in the South Regional Tournament.

A pair of Lady Eagles garnered All-SAC honors during Moore's first season, as Jessica Tarbet was named SAC Player of the Year and Erica Ray earned second team All-SAC honors.

Moore joined the Lady Eagles after spending the 2009-10 season at Eastern Kentucky University as a graduate assistant with the women's golf program and as an external relations intern with the Colonels' athletic department. While at EKU, Moore earned an M.S. in Physical Education and Sports Administration.

As a collegian, Moore was two-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference performer at Wake Forest in 2006 and 2007. In her senior season, she was named third team All-American by Golfweek and was a two-time honorable mention All-American selection by the National Golf Coaches Association. She is also a former Kentucky Women's Open Champion ('04) and Kentucky Women's Amateur Champion ('02).

In '07 and '08, Moore played professionally in 11 events on the Duramed Futures Tour.

Off the course, Moore was named the Wake Forest Dean's List six times and was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll. She was also active with the Wake Forest Student Athletic Advisory Committee and the Wake Forest Athletes in Action program.

Moore has a B.A. in Communications from WFU, and has worked as a sports production assistant at WKYT in Lexington, Ky.
