BRADENTON, Fla. - After the first two rounds of the Rollins Legend, Carson-Newman women's golf is in fourteenth place.

"It was a long day on the course," Carson-Newman women's golf coach Kelsey Hutson said. "Hannah had a rough few holes the first round, but totaled seven birdies today. Ellie and Maeve were both very solid in their games. I saw a lot of good shots from both Aynsleigh and Caroline. Caroline chipped in for birdie on hole five. Tomorrow is the last day for our fall season, we have a goal to finish the fall with some of our best scores."

The Eagles team score in the first round was 309. They got one stroke better in the second round of play.

Junior Ellie Haughton began her day with a 3-over 74. Both of her birdies came on par 3s in the opening round. She made two more birdies in the second round en route to a 6-over 77. She enters the final round tied for 29th.
