Dickie places fourth individually as Eagles finish sixth at Berea Invitational

BEREA, Ky. –Both Carson-Newman cross country teams placed sixth at the Berea Invitational and were once again led by two freshmen.

The Eagles were led once again by Lachlan Dickie (Knoxville, Tenn.) who ran the fourth quickest time with a 26:51 in the eight-mile race.

Sophomore Nick Guerra (Richardson, Texas) finished 29th with a time of 30:07 and junior Patrick Stump's (Leesburg, Va.) 30:28 was good enough with a 32nd-place.

Tori Gaul (Salisbury, N.C.) led the women in the 5k with a time of 21:13, placing her in 15th-place. Junior Hannah Kiser's 21:46 (Cedar Park, Texas) placed her in 24th and freshman Duncan Sparks (Knoxville, Tenn.) round out the team's top-three with a 22:46. 

The Eagles' next meet will be Saturday 27th at Greene Farm in the Maryville Duel Meet.
