Game Two Box Score

HARROGATE, Tenn. – Carson-Newman committed five errors in an 8-2 game one loss to Lincoln Memorial before an error in the bottom of the seventh in game two aided the Railsplitters in a 4-3 walk-off win over the Eagles in South Atlantic Conference play Saturday at Lamar Hennon Field.

"We were totally unprepared coming in," Carson-Newman coach Tom Griffin said. "We were lethargic at the beginning. We were not ready on the mound. If you don't have command it's going to come back to bite you against good teams. The miscues were unbelievable as far as missing cuts, throwing to wrong bags and not having a feel. We had guys diving for balls taking their time getting up off of the ground, feeling sorry for themselves."
