Tennis matches against TWC postponed to Thursday

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.—Due to the threat of rain and further inclement weather, the Carson-Newman Athletic Department has postponed Wednesday's men and women's tennis matchups against Tennessee Wesleyan to Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m at the Eagles' Buddy Catlett Tennis Complex.

Mother Nature has been not so kind to Carson-Neman's tennis clubs on the year. C-N witnessed all three of its fall matches cancelled because of rain and fell victim to the downpour skies last Wednesday in its season-opener against Newberry.

Thursday's forecast is clear and sunny as of now, so hopefully it will finally be tennis time at Carson-Newman come the matinee.
