GREESNBORO, N.C. – Day three of the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships saw further records for C-N swim across each of its events.

Maggie Melhorn grabbed C-N swims 10th school record of the week after recording a third-place finish in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.14.  It's the senior's second All-America swim of the week and first individually after swimming in the 200 medley relay on Wednesday with a No. 4 finish.

The finish at No. 3 for the Knoxville, Tenn. equals the highest finish ever for a swimmer at Nationals in C-N program history.

CJ Jensen grabbed her second honorable mention All-America swim in consecutive days after recording a 14th-place finish overall in the 200 butterfly with a swim of 2:03.08, a new lifetime low after accomplishing the same feat this morning.

Both C-N relay teams in the 800 freestyle recorded 4th-place finishes in the morning swims as the rest of the relay teams were slated to compete this evening.

The men's side of Jon LancasterNikola TadicCaleb Howell & Marcelo Figueiredo broke a school record by a whole three seconds with a time of 6:36.82 but finished 11th overall and moved up to 26th in the national rankings.

The women's side of Melhorn, Lisa Postma, Jensen and Margaret Stansberry set a season-low time in the event at 7:28.30, nearly two seconds better than the previous low to finish 12th overall. The women's team sits at 8th in the national rankings.

Each team still earned honorable mention All-America in the event.

"I'm over the moon with day three off nationals and the way the team is continuing to execute great swims," Coach Jordan Taylor stated. "I knew all the swimmers had talent had put in the work this season. They just needed to let it show on the biggest stage and they have! One more big day to come from this amazing group of swimmers!"

The final day of events is scheduled to get underway tomorrow morning at the Greensboro Aquatic Center at 10:00 a.m.
