2023: Indoor - Richards had five top-5 finishes during the indoor season, each in the high jump event. At the Winter Classic, he placed third with a 2.00-meter mark. During the 2023 SAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, Richards finished ninth (1.94 m). 

Outdoor - At the Montreat College Open, Richards hit a new personal best in the high jump, winning the event with a 2.02-meter mark. He placed sixth at the Tennessee Invitational (1.90 m) and second at the LR Bears Open (1.95 m). Richards ended the season with a spot on the podium at the 2023 SAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He placed third with a 1.99-meter mark. 

2022: Indoor - Richards placed fifth in the triple jump at the ETSU Track and Field Invitational with a 13.38-meter mark, a new personal best. At the 2022 South Atlantic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, he finished in 10th with a 12.82-meter mark.  

Outdoor - At the Montreat College Invitational, Richards placed fifth in the high jump with a 1.85-meter mark. During the 2022 SAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, he finished 10th in the high jump (1.85 m) and 13th in the triple jump (13.00 m). 

High School – In his first ever track & field season, Richards finished in the top two of the triple jump in every event except one. Was named team MVP in 2021. Also played basketball for the Blue Devils.

Personal – Son of Olabopo Richards. Was a member of the Beta Club and the National High School Honors Society. Undecided on his major.
