Jureidini-Wyche finishes second at Outdoor Music City Challenge

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - With a toss of 46.69 meters, Trayzel Jureidini-Wyche finished second in the men's discus at the Outdoor Music City Challenge.

The senior entered the finals in third after throwing the disc a distance of 46.55 meters in his second toss. He jumped up to second with his 46.69 meter toss on his fifth throw of the event.

Jureidini-Wyche finished above throwers from Division-I Arkansas State, Belmont, and SIU Edwardsville. 

Jacob Tracy of Arkansas State won the event with a throw of 48.96 meters. 

Jureidini-Wyche has now finished inside the top-five in 12 straight meets.

The Carson-Newman sprinters will now competed at Vandy tomorrow, Apr. 30, beginning with the 4x100 meter relay at 2:35 PM.
