JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's Eagle Sports Network has released the fifth epside of its podcast - Mossy Creek Conversations - featuring former C-N broadcaster and current Wake Forest play-by-play broadcaster Stan Cotten, who spent 12 years broadcasting Carson-Newman athletics and played high school football for Ken Sparks.

Stan Cotten spent 12 years as the broadcaster for Carson-Newman starting what is now known as the Eagle Sports Network. With stops at Marshall and now Wake Forest, he has spent four decades behind the microphone. Stan recalls broadcasting five C-N football national titles, stories about Ken Sparks and his career.

He has spent 41 years as a broadcaster winning four North Carolina Sportscaster of the Year awards and was inducted into the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame in 2020. In April 2019, he was honored with the Lindsey Nelson Award from the Knoxville Quarterback Club given to the broadcaster that has advanced the game of college football. You can hear Stan on Learfield IMG College calling Wake Forest football and basketball as well as the voice for Wake Forest baseball on ACC Network.
