Promotions to Highlight Tuesday's Carson-Newman Men's Soccer Match with Tusculum

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. — The Carson-Newman men's soccer team has several big promotions planned for Tuesday's matchup with South Atlantic Conference rival Tusculum.

The match is set for 6 p.m. at McCown Field and is sponsored by Merrill Lynch of Morristown (Blaine Potter, Christy Gair, Melanie Hime) and the Carson-Newman School of Business.

The promotions include free helicopter rides on the soccer field from 4-5:45 p.m. for Carson-Newman students, free Nike t-shirts given away to students before the match, a skydiver bringing in the game ball at 6 p.m., a halftime show with C-N cheerleaders and a fire juggler and FCA night on the field after the match with free food and Sonic lemonade.

The Eagles, who have won five straight contests, are encouraging all C-N students and C-N soccer fans from the surrounding communities to come out and show their support and enjoy the festivities. The goal is to have more than 1,000 fans come out for the match

C-N is currently 8-2-1 on the season and is in first place in the conference with a perfect 5-0 record.
