INDIANAPOLIS — The Carson-Newman Eagles are ranked seventh in the NCAA Southeast Region rankings, the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Committee announced earlier this week.
The Eagles are 9-3-1 against Division II opponents this season, all of which have been in-region matchups.
Clayton State is ranked first, followed by Flagler, Montevallo, Mars Hill and Wingate.
Lenoir-Rhyne, the fourth South Atlantic Conference school in the poll, is ranked eighth.
The top six teams from the Southeast Region will be selected to participate in the NCAA Tournament.
