Lyons, Duffy unveil slew of June soccer camps and clinics

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman head men's soccer coach Stephen Lyons and head women's soccer coach Simon Duffy have unveiled a pair of residential summer camps, as well as a clinic for June. 

The camp schedule starts June 5 with a four-day clinic for boys and girls ages 5-12. The clinic runs from 9 a.m. – noon June 5-8 at McCown Field. 

The cost of the camp is 100 dollars and includes: a camp gift, a camp certificate, collegiate level coaching and 100 percent guaranteed fun. The camp will work on the techniques and fundamentals of the game.

A boy's residential summer camp follows June 16-18 with check in beginning at noon on the first day.  A girl's residential summer camp follows  June 23-26. 

Both residential camps cost 375 dollars. All campers receive a complimentary t-shirt for attending as well as an evaluation from the Carson-Newman coaching staff.  

Meals and housing will be provided for the week.  Campers are advised to bring indoor shoes in case there is inclement weather.
