Softball makes myriad of schedule changes

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman softball has added two home doubleheaders, switched a conference doubleheader and cancelled six other contests due to CoVID testing concerns.

The Eagles have added weekend twinbills against Lees-McRae Saturday, Feb. 20 and Tiffin Sunday, Feb. 21. Both doubleheaders will be played at noon.  

Additionally, a road conference doubleheader against Mars Hill, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Feb.  23 will now be played at the Vickee Kazee-Hollifield Softball Complex on Wednesday Feb. 24 at noon due to weather concerns in Mars Hill.  

Finally, Carson-Newman has cancelled its trip to the Bearcat/Fleet Invitational the weekend of Feb. 27.  The Eagles have also nixed a home doubleheader with Bluefield State on Sunday, March 7 due to CoVID testing concerns.  

The contests with Lees-McRae, Tiffin and Mars Hill will all be broadcast on the Eagle Sports Network at cneagles.com/live.
