Lady Eagles drop 6-3 decision at North Georgia

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Carson-Newman's Katie Brown won both of the Lady Eagles contested points as C-N dropped a 6-3 loss on Wednesday afternoon to North Georgia.

Brown combined with Devon Jennings at No. 2 doubles to win 9-8 and give C-N a chance heading into singles, trailing 2-1.

Brown picked up a tiebreaker win at No. 3 singles, rallying from a 6-0 loss in the opening set to win 0-6, 6-0, 10-6.

C-N struggled with the Saints' singles lineup elsewhere.

The Lady Eagles face Mars Hill on Saturday to wrap up their 2012 South Atlantic Conference season.
