HARROGATE, Tenn. – After dropping two in a row, Carson-Newman (8-7, 6-4 SAC) bounced back with an emphatic win over in-state foe Lincoln Memorial (9-13, 3-8 SAC), 6-1.
"The girls looked great," head coach Jon Parker said. "I believe this is the best match they have played as a team. After getting the doubles point, they played with great confidence."
In singles play, the Eagles exuded confidence, taking five of the six matches to secure the win in dominant fashion. Anita Chornei, Summer Reeves, and Leah McBride won in straight sets in the No. 1, 3, and 5 slots, while Natasha Forrest and Suryanshi secured wins in pro sets.

C-N earned the point in doubles thanks to wins in the No. 1 and 3 slots. The all-conference pairing of Summer Reeves and Natasha Forrest took care of business, and despite dropping the No. 2 doubles, C-N won the point, with Anita Chornei and Julia Speiser earning a victory on the No. 3 court.
