JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman women's basketball's game at Hiwassee that was scheduled for Thursday evening has been postponed. A make-up date has not been announced.
Carson-Newman (6-1, 1-0 South Atlantic Conference) is riding a six-game winning streak, with the last three victories coming at home against Columbus State, Brevard, and North Georgia.
Carson-Newman will next play on Saturday Dec. 15 against Lenoir-Rhyne in Hickory, N.C., at 3 p.m. Coverage of the game is available on the Coca-Cola Eagle Sports Network, beginning with the Farm Bureau Countdown to Tipoff at 2:45 p.m. and the broadcast is also available on www.cneagles.com.
