EMORY, Va.- From start to finish, Carson-Newman women's basketball (7-5, 3-1) dominated Emory & Henry (5-6, 2-2) at Bob Johnson Court Saturday afternoon, winning 81 to 45.

"We knew how important this game was and what we wanted to obtain before Christmas break, head coach Mike Mincey said. "I think they are really starting to gain a lot of confidence in each other and how we can play. We got back to pressing today and did a great job with that. We did a great job scoring, shooting efficiently on the road. We haven't done so well on the road, so it's nice to put together a really good effort on the road."

After surrendering the first basket of the game, C-N rattled off the next 22 points to take complete control.
