JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The nominees for 13 Frosty Awards categories have been released after selection from the Frosty Awards Committee. Winners will be announced via the Eagle Sports Network and an awards show Tuesday, May 2 at 6 p.m. from inside Gentry Auditorium on Carson-Newman's campus.
The 10th Annual Frosty Awards ceremony will be open to the public, however, seating is first reserved for Carson-Newman's student athletes. Very limited space is available to the general public.
The finalists for the 14th category, play of the year, will be unveiled at a later time.
Voting will remain open for two weeks, until Monday, April 24 at 11:59 p.m.
The Frosty Awards celebrate NCAA athletic excellence at Carson-Newman. The event will be broadcast live on the Eagle Sports Network at cneagles.com/live
These nominees will be trimmed down to four finalists per category before the winners are unveiled May 2. Fans can vote for which nominees should move on and be finalists at the following link: https://bit.ly/2023FrostyVote
A combination of fan vote, and the Frosty Awards Committee will determine the finalists and winners. The Frosty Awards Committee will take into account any outstanding performances that occur for the rest of the month of April and early May.
