Eagles opening day moved up

Eagles opening day moved up

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman softball will kick off its 2020 campaign one day earlier than expected due to the threat of rain in Spartanburg, S.C.

Instead of Tuesday, the Eagles will now open the season Monday at Converse against the Valkyries.  The Eagles swept Converse last season.  

First pitch Monday is set for 2 p.m.  Follow @cnathletics for live updates.
